The Charrette’s Paper Anniversary

17 December 2011 2 Comments

Yes, we’ve been around talking about urban planning and whatnot for a little over a year now, so it’s time to celebrate our paper anniversary! Well, we’re a blog, so maybe PDF anniversary is more accurate.

Come on down to the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse on December 29  at 7pm for a little get together in the heart of the currently-revitalizing Alberta Avenue neighbourhood. That’s right, the neighbourhood’s coming back and it didn’t need an arena to make it happen. We’ll talk about what’s happening on the Ave and pretty much anything else that strikes our fancy. There will also be cake*, warm drinks served up by friendly Carrot volunteers**, and some silly prizes given away.

Entry is free, but please grab a ticket at our Eventbrite page so we know how much baked goods to bring. See you there!

*   The Charrette reserves the right to substitute cookies for cake

** You have to pay for these, but come on people, it’s for the community!

I read somewhere on their website that the carrot will be closed for the holidays until Jan 3. So I am wondering if this is still the plan or if there is a backup?

Hey Paul, we’ve got the space booked especially for us, so no problem!
